The Tips of GYXTC8Y Fiber Cable Installation:
Stranded Tube Handling: Unlike central tube types, the stranded loose tube design requires careful mid-span access. Use professional stripping tools to avoid damaging the multiple buffer tubes.
FRP Messenger Tension: Secure the non-metallic FRP messenger using high-quality dielectric tension clamps. Proper sagging is vital to offset thermal expansion in all-dielectric networks.
Bending Radius Management: Maintain a minimum dynamic bending radius of 20x the cable diameter during installation to protect high-density fibers from attenuation.
Moisture Sealing: Since GYXTC8Y uses water-blocking yarns and tape, ensure all closure entries are hermetically sealed to maintain its long-term outdoor reliability.
Anti-Static Safety: Ideal for power-line proximity. Although non-metallic, always follow standard safety clearances to ensure the safety of the installation crew.
