Duct Inspection: Ensure the duct is clean and free of sharp obstructions to prevent damage to the cable’s PE jacket during pulling.
Tension Control: Use the central steel strength member for pulling; do not exceed the rated tensile strength to avoid fiber attenuation.
Bending Radius: Maintain a minimum bending radius of 20x the cable diameter during installation and 10x after permanent fixing.
Armor Grounding: Properly ground the corrugated steel tape at splice points to protect the network from lightning and electrical interference.
Moisture Sealing: Use waterproof heat-shrink caps on cut ends immediately to prevent moisture ingress into the jelly-filled loose tubes.
