The Tips of GYTA Fiber Optic Cable Installation:
- Duct Inspection: Clean ducts and remove debris before pulling to prevent tearing the PE jacket or damaging the aluminum armor layer.
Proper Tensioning: Always pull using the central steel strength member; ensure tension stays within the 1500N limit to avoid fiber attenuation.
Bending Radius: Maintain a minimum bending radius of 20x the cable diameter during installation to protect the aluminum tape from kinking.
Moisture Control: Seal cut ends immediately with waterproof heat-shrink caps to prevent the water-blocking jelly from escaping or moisture ingress.
Lubricant Usage: Use high-quality cable lubricants in long duct runs to minimize friction between the cable jacket and the duct wall.
