Verify Span Limits: Ensure the installation span does not exceed the recommended 50-80 meters. For longer distances, ensure tension calculations are verified to prevent fiber strain.
Use Specialized Flat Clamps: Because of its unique flat profile, always use dedicated plastic wedge clamps or S-type tension members to ensure a firm grip without damaging the outer PE jacket.
Observe Bend Radius: Strictly maintain a minimum bending radius of 20 times the cable diameter during pulling to avoid micro-bending losses and ensure long-term signal stability.
Avoid Torsional Stress: As a uni-tube cable, GYFXTBY is sensitive to twisting. Use a cable swivel during the pulling process to ensure the cable remains flat and untwisted.
